Speaker profile

Ruth is a Chartered Scientist with over 20 years’ experience, focussed on environmental impact assessment, air quality and regulatory compliance. Responding to the growth of UK Space Industry, Ruth now specialises in the development and delivery of planning requirements and assessment of environmental effects (AEE) studies for UK spaceflight activities.

Working with Spaceport and Launch Operators, Ruth and her team at ITPEnergised have to date delivered five AEE studies, each specific to its proposed project and requiring unique scope and focus of assessment. As the licencing process progresses, Ruth is working closely with the Civil Aviation Authority to streamline the AEE determination process going forward.
