Speaker profile
Andy has over 20 years’ experience in the space industry, having held Programme and Technical
Director positions at SSTL, a major UK satellite manufacturer. Andy was the European
Representative for Firefly Space Systems from 2015-2017, led the UKSA study ‘Towards a UK
Launch Infrastructure’ in 2013, and the commercial aspects of 2016 UKSA ‘SCEPTRE’ study into
trade-off of commercial and technical options for establishing launch vehicle services from the UK.
He is Vice-Chair of the UK Space Launch Committee.
