Arcsec secured funding for their DeDUST project in 2023. Since then, the development work has focused on extracting debris observations from star tracker images and moving this process to the star tracker microcontroller. Besides this development work, a simulation framework has been setup to model expected debris observations based on constellation properties. This simulation tool can help predict DeDUST data valorisation and prove the DeDUST business case.

This session will highlight both the developments in debris detection, as well as those on the simulation tool before looking forward, laying out the roadmap to commercialisation of DeDUST.
