My Coast Limited is developing a coastal safety app in collaboration with the RNLI, MET Office, South West Water and the University of Plymouth. Our vision is to improve survival rates for coastal incidents and enable better decision making before entering the water or visiting the coast. The app will link the user with near real-time, verified information to enable them to make informed decisions before visiting the coast or entering the water. The platform will act as a hyperlocal ecosystem, giving users information about the surrounding area, whilst unifying the emergency services with local businesses and the community.
