Vincent Moreau is an Optoelectronics Engineer and holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Liège (2001), where he specialized in optical interconnection systems using substrate-mode diffractive optical elements.
He currently serves as the Technology Development Manager at AMOS, which he joined in 2007.
Throughout his career, he has led and contributed to numerous projects in Earth observation, astronomy, and optical metrology. Notable projects include serving as Project Manager for the Pan-STARRS PS2 telescope (University of Hawaii), the Sentinel-2 MSI Beam Splitter (Airbus DS), and the E-ELT tertiary mirror feasibility study (ESO). He also contributed as a System Engineer to the Magdalena Ridge Observatory Interferometer (New Mexico University) and the Observatory of Javalambre (CEFCA, Spain). More recently, he has been involved in the SALTO technology demonstrator in collaboration with the University of Liège, which utilizes adaptive optics based on a laser guide star.
Before joining AMOS, he led the development of the Luminette®, a portable luminotherapy device that won the Best Holographic Product of the Year award in 2006.
Vincent Moreau has authored around 50 publications on optical systems, components, and applications in Earth observation, astronomy, optical metrology, and medical devices.
