Speaker profile

Dr. Nataliya Tkachenko is a computer scientist specialising in AI/ML methods for environmental monitoring and forecasting. She currently leads ESG Data & AI Strategy in the AI Centre of Excellence of Lloyds Banking Group, where she mobilises a portfolio of use cases spanning physical risks, transition, and nature finance with the help of generative AI and advanced computing. Previously, she held postdoctoral research fellowships in AI for sustainable finance and SDGs at the University of Oxford, The Alan Turing Institute, NESTA, and DSIT. Nataliya is passionate about responsible use of AI in sustainable transition and recently joined the executive board of the EPSRC-funded UK Open Multimodal AI Network as a co-investigator, leading on nature-driven engineering and responsible AI workstreams.
