Speaker profile

Jean-Pierre Chisogne graduated beginning of the nineties in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Liège in Belgium.

He has over 25 years of experience in business development for the industrial and institutional space sector. He began his professional career in 1991 in the European Technology Transfer and has worked in the space sector since 1999.  He has participated in several national and international space programs for Space and Ground segments. He specializes in optics, mechanics, space and ground optomechanical systems engineering and manufacturing.

He also has been a member of the board of several aerospace related organizations and clusters of Wallonia like Liège Espace, Wallonie Espace, EWA or Skywin

Since 2019, he has been working for the Wallonia Export and Investment Agency as Senior Aerospace and Innovation Expert.

He is currently Deputy Managing Director of Skywin*, the aerospace cluster of Wallonia (Belgium), particularly in charge of the space sector.
