At Slingshot, Melissa leads the team to empower organizations with actionable insight, supporting the responsible uses of space through our comprehensive database. Melissa is driving the global expansion of Slingshot Aerospace to deliver the acceleration of space sustainability. Previously, as Director of Spaceport Cornwall, Melissa was instrumental in advancing the development of the UK launch industry resulting in the country’s first satellite launch. Melissa has a wealth of experience in space operations, a deep understanding of the space industry, and a background in business and economics. She is a keynote speaker, media spokesperson and recognised thought leader in the industry. Melissa holds a Master of Science Degree from the London School of Economics and is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society. She is passionate about using space to benefit life on Earth, as well inspiring the next generation into the space industry.
