Leanne Chhen leads the in-orbit regulation team at the UK Space Agency. She led the development of the regulatory framework for orbital operations under the Space Industry Regulations 2021. Her current focus is on sustainability and she oversees her team’s development of regulatory frameworks for ISAM and constellations.
Her previous experience includes working as a lawyer in the Australian government, developing workplace relations legislation and advising on commercial law matters.
