Gary has over 25 years’ experience in the space sector having worked for private & public, defence & commercial, large & small companies, often working with international partners. His approach to the design and production of spacecraft engages the wider stakeholder network, producing cleaner, traceable, quality driven outputs, leveraging heritage processes and modern, forward-thinking techniques to streamline spacecraft lifecycles.

His current role as Space Segment Lead at the Satellite Applications Catapult allows him to lead and develop the UK supply chain to address challenges such as In Orbit Servicing, Assembly and Manufacturing, Active Debris Removal, Launch and Space Based Power systems.
