Space for Nature and Finance
To connect the nature finance and space technology communities together to learn about how collaboration between the communities can bring significant benefits in helping us meet our goals around climate and nature. Key topics to cover will include:
- Benefits and limitations of earth observation data for climate and nature finance including how geospatial AI and geospatial foundational models can support adoption of earth observation data.
- How can earth observation unlock opportunities in Nature Markets and Natural Capital Accounting, as well as sectoral nature risks, dependencies, impact and opportunities different sectors (e.g. Agriculture, infrastructure, mining, etc)?
- How do we create the change that enables nature positivity?
- What new ways can we leverage earth observation data for nature?
