Nakuja Project is a Kenya-based rocket development project that eventually aims to build orbital rockets that launch small satellites from Kenya. The project is driven by University researchers and students at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), pioneering the country’s research and development of space propulsion and rocket engineering. The Kenya Space Agency (KSA) supports the Nakuja project as part of its efforts in promoting the establishment of local capability to launch satellites.
