Get with the Program is an award-winning social enterprise on a mission to inclusively inspire the tech innovators of the future – so today’s children can one day lead the way in solving the world’s biggest challenges! Their unique mix of storytelling and performance teaches children coding concepts through interactive theatre, taking them on an exciting, engaging journey. Each of their coding adventures is fully aligned with the computing curriculum, and with their focus on diversity and inclusivity they also smash stereotypes around gender and ethnicity along the way – for example their Moon Landing Coding Adventure highlights the wonderful Katherine Johnson and Margaret Hamilton! And by deliberately being created as a female-led and managed business, with flexible, school-hours, term-time roles, Get with Program supports women and others directly in their lives and technology careers. To date their work has reached over quarter of a million children, and they have won two Learning Excellence Awards for Education and a Careers Champion Award for Innovation.
