Simon joined the Geospatial Commission in 2020 as Head of Commercial, responsible for oversight of all commercial activity undertaken by the Commision. This includes procurement of relevant services to support Geospatial Commission projects and programmes and post award contract management of a number of collective purchase agreements for geospatial data and services held by the Commission and used widely across the public sector to support public services and policy objectives. These include the Public Sector Geospatial Agreement with Ordnance Survey, Postcode Address File with Royal Mail and the Aerial Photography GB contracts with Bluesky / Getmapping and Airbus.Has 20 years experience in public sector commercial activity, in both procurement and contract management to support critical programmes and strategic services.
