Speaker profile

Katherine is a Strategic Advisor, Non-Executive Director, Creative Destruction Lab Mentor, STEM Ambassador, UKSEDS Trustee, former UK Space Agency CEO, and Chair of the Global Network on Sustainability in Space. GNOSIS fosters knowledge sharing and collaboration between industry, researchers and policy-makers to keep the space environment safe, secure and sustainable.

Katherine’s private sector career spans business innovation, start-up and growth in the UK, Europe, North America and other geographies.

Over nearly 15 years in senior UK Government roles, she led landmark tech-enabled transformation programmes and introduced 5 cross-cutting pieces of legislation to Parliament.

While at the UK Space Agency, she initiated the UKLaunch Programme, introduced the Space Industries Act and led €1.4bn investment in international collaborative space missions.
