Speaker profile

Rory currently leads ClearSpace’s UK subsidiary and is a member of ClearSpace Group’s Executive Management Team.

Rory has over 15+ years’ experience in the space industry, working both at manufactures and operators, delivering programs for both commercial and institutional customers (ESA, UKSA, CNES):

• Technical Program Manager at Google Loon – managing software development activities for cutting-edge network management solutions to satcom customers.
• Program Manager at OneWeb – leading a portfolio of programs developing the next-generation technologies for the OneWeb constellation.
• Program Manager at Honeywell – managing a portfolio of technology developments programs delivering RF hardware for satellite missions.

Rory achieved a Master of Physics degree from Oxford University, a PhD from the University of Heidelberg and the Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation.
