One of the UK’s leading material scientists and engineers, Dr Aphrodite Tomou Dr. Aphrodite Tomou, who serves as the Head of Technical, has been involved in helping achieve some of the world’s biggest breakthroughs and innovations. Leading Goodfellow’s global team of technical specialists that have played pivotal roles in supplying the correct materials for Nuclear Fusion experiments, supporting the vaccine development for Covid 19 and helping land the Cassini Huygens probe on one of Saturn’s moons, her technical knowledge and expertise has played a fundamental role in the growth of Goodfellow. She holds two Master’s and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, whilst she is a member of the BSI UK-China Joint Working Group on the Graphene standardisation, representing Goodfellow.
