Chris Newlands is one of the UK’s most connected entrepreneurs in the Financial Services, Events, Technology and Space sectors. In December 2021, he was named in 4^th position, in the world’s top 10 space entrepreneurs list, beaten only by Branson, Musk and Bezos.

After serving in the Royal Navy, he carved out a successful career in Financial Services as a Chartered Financial Planner and NED. Over the last decade, Chris has become a true entrepreneur, creating several Space 2 Consumer (S2C) applications . From commercial opportunities to societal benefits, S2C strategies have the potential to touch every sector which could help save time, money, lives and potentially our planet. The patent captures the merging of GPS or location data, images, video, audio, biometrics and data from wearables with real-time satellite imagery. S2C offers the ability to engage with customers, employees and monitor livestock and assets visually from space.

An acclaimed inventor, Chris won the prestigious Innovator of the Year in 2019 at the Scottish Ex-Forces in Business Awards. The Scottish Government recently awarded him the title of Global Scot and he became a Professor of Practice in 2021. He is an Affiliate Member of the Scotland International Space Advisory Committee.
