Have you heard of UK ROC it is ADS’ (the UK trade association for aerospace, defence, security, and space companies) annual STEM competition. Open to any school, college, educational facility or youth group across the UK, UK ROC is the largest competition of its kind in the UK. The competition is designed for 11–18-year-olds and encourages them to consider fascinating careers in science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM), while designing, building, and launching a model rocket with their friends with expert support from rocketeers and ADS. Next year’s international final will be held at Farnborough Airshow on 22 – 26 July 2024. Come along to find out more about the competition and how you may get involved.
