PANEL: Preparing for long-term sustainable space exploration missions
Space agencies and international space tech giants have already established their vision and goals for Lunar and Mars habitation. Many new institutional and commercial actors have emerged in the space exploration market and will play a crucial role in determining the evolution of this segment. This session will focus on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead and how to collaborate at an international level to develop sustainable human space exploration programs. It aims to discuss the emerging markets within space exploration, including space tourism, interplanetary transportation, payload and telemetry data and space resource utilisation, and the challenges pertaining to the technology enablement and the funding support required from the terrestrial industries and private sector.
